Sophia v1.2 Released - Multi Turn Dialog + State Persistance

Proud to announce the release of Sophia NLU HA edition v1.2. Current license holders may instantly install via the Settings -> Apps and Settings->Devices and services menus of their HA device.

This upgrade contains many improvements:

  • Better overall understanding and will no longer be overly aggressive when trying to assign intent.
  • Sophia will now ask for clarification if it's uncertain which entity you meant.
  • State persistence. For example, if you ask how many lights are on in the kitchen and, you can now say "turn them on for me" in the next message and Sophia will remember which lights you mean.
  • Help improve Sophia! When Sophia doesn't correctly understand a message, simply tell Sophia the last message was wrong. It will be logged, and once in a while, upload all pending through the Log menu of the web interface for review and repair.
  • Updated speech responses to provide better and more humane outputs, especially when getting status of entities.
  • Dropped memory footprint by 12% to 160MB
  • Removed the Quiet and Friendly outbound personalities, and added Default and Laid Back personalities.
  • Integrated Open Router as an available LLM.
